3 EASY STEPS TO GRILLING BEEF

1.  Prepare charcoal for grilling.  When coals are medium, ash-covered (about 30 minutes), spread

     in single layer. 

2.  Season beef (straight from refrigerator) with herbs or spices as desired.  Place on cooking grid

     directly over coals.

3.  Grill according to chart, turning once.  After cooking, season beef with Eden Meat Market's

     Meat Seasoning, if desired.

Because gas and electric grill brands vary greatly, consult your owner's manual for grilling guidelines.

Prime Rib Roast

   

Allow 3/4 - 1 pound per adult (less for boneless roasts, more for roasts with a bone.)  If Desired,

season with Eden Meat Market's meat seasoning.  Place meat - fat side up - on rack in an open

shallow roasting pan.  It is not necessary to baste the roast.  Do not add water or cover.  Roast

meat in a 325 degree oven.  Roast to desired doneness (see timetable).  Use a meat thermometer

as a final guide.  Transfer roast to carving board; tent loosely with aluminum foil.  Let stand 15 to

20 minutes.  (Temperatures will continue to rise 5 to 10 degrees to reach desired doneness, and

roast will be easier to carve.)

Shredded French Dip Sandwiches

   3 lb Boneless Beef Chuck Roast

   1 can (10-1/2 oz) condensed french onion soup, undiluted

   1 can (10-1/2 oz) condensed beef consomme, undiluted

   1 can (10-1/2 oz) condensed beef broth, undiluted

   1 tsp Beef Bouillon grandules

   8 - 10 French or Italian Rolls, split

   2 tsp Eden Meat Market Meat Seasoning

     Rub Eden Meat Market Meat Seasoning on chuck roast.  Place roast in a crock pot / slow cooker.  Combine the soup, consomme, broth, and bouillon; pour over roast.  Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.  Remove meat and shred with two forks.  Serve on rolls.  Skim fat from cooking juices and serve as a dipping sauce.  (Optional:  Add fried onions, green peppers, and swiss or Mozzarella cheese on sandwich)
